COMP-ECO at Carbon Korea 2025

For the first time, the potential of companies, research institutes, and scientific organisations from Poland was presented at Carbon Korea 2025. The COMP-ECO project took part in the event, held in November 2025 in Seoul, Republic of Korea, one of the key international platforms dedicated to carbon materials and composite technologies.

During the event, COMP-ECO representatives participated in conference sessions, exhibition activities, and networking meetings focused on research collaboration, technology transfer, and the development of future joint projects. The programme included the Korea - Europe Carbon Composites Tech Bridge Forum, organised by the Korea Carbon Industry Promotion Agency (KCARBON), which aimed to foster strategic cooperation between Korea, Germany, and Poland in the field of advanced carbon and composite technologies.

Within the forum, Prof. Anna Boczkowska delivered a presentation to an audience of more than 100 participants from industry, academia, research organisations, public authorities, and investment bodies from Korea, Germany, and Poland.  The discussions focused on industry and research trends as well as mechanisms for joint research activities and technology exchange between European and Korean partners.

Overall, the event contributed to strengthening international research and innovation linkages and supported the alignment of COMP-ECO objectives with global developments in carbon materials and composite technologies.
