On 9 October 2025, a research team from Warsaw University of Technology, represented by Assistant Professor Paulina Latko-Durałek and PhD candidate Piotr Mądry, took part in the ET-NDT Colloquium hosted by TU Delft. The event brought together researchers and experts working on advanced non-destructive testing methods for composite structures.
During the colloquium, the WUT representatives delivered two presentations:
Application of CNT-Doped Nonwovens as Sensors for Fiber-Reinforced Composites – Paulina Latko-Durałek
Composites Based on Recyclates: Polymer Powder Composites with Ceramic Waste and Composites from Thermoset Waste – Piotr Mądry
As part of a short-term internship at TU Delft, the researchers performed shearography tests on fibre-reinforced composites with embedded carbon-nanotube-based sensors, contributing to ongoing work within the COMP-ECO research activities.
Their visit further strengthened collaboration between Warsaw University of Technology and TU Delft, supporting joint research on smart materials, sustainability and innovative sensing technologies.
