Representatives of the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering at Warsaw University of Technology presented results from the COMP-ECO project at the XXVI Scientific Symposium “Composites – Theory and Practice”, held in Brenna, Poland, on June 4–6, 2025.
This annual symposium, organised by the Polish Society of Composite Materials, provides a platform for presenting developments in composite material manufacturing, modelling, testing, and applications. The event fosters exchange between academia and industry and is guided by a scientific committee of renowned experts in composite research.
Dr. Kamil Dydek delivered an oral presentation that included general information about the project, with a focus on how hydrothermal aging affects the damage-detection capabilities of GFRP using non-destructive testing (NDT) methods. The research results showcased were the outcome of collaborative work between Polish partners and TU Delft during one of the project's scientific internships.
